Musescore: free music notational program
I have been using musescore as an alternative to Finale and it is an amazingly versatile music notation program that you can download and use for free for both PC's and Mac's. I am looking to incorporate the program into my music educational products. This program can import MIDI files from the books A.D.G. Productions produces.

This video shows how to hear the guitar part on playback. When rhythm slash chords are notated the guitar part does not sound on playback, However, switching to music notation will enable the guitar part to be heard.
