I like this book: it gives you lots of rhythm exercises to build your rock , R&B, funk and latin chops. The voicings are not difficult at all and they are quite standard - ninths, minor sevenths, dominant sevenths, etc : the main goal is to follow the rhythm , so it is quite challenging, but in conjunction with CD it really works.Recommended!
I am returning to the guitar after a 25 year absence due to a heart attack and stroke. These medical maladies took their toll on both my body and my memory. Things I learned years ago were forgotten and my coordination was lacking as well. The subject book has been and is a great boon in my returning to my once proficient hobby. Thank you to Amazon for providing the book and the author for writing it.
