Customer Comments

I love EVERYTHING that Allan Alexander does! The arrangements in this book are absolutely gorgeous, accessible, and completely addictive. Allan's arrangements allow for maximum interplay between the flute and the guitar. The guitar parts are NOT of the "oompah" or "hum-strum" variety where the flute is featured and the guitar is merely background. Rather, both instruments are equally prominent. The selection of pieces in this book is extremely varied. Some of the pieces are slow and soothing, while others are much more lively - a perfect mix for performance. My flute-playing partner and I tend to play mostly in church, and many pieces are well-suited to this. Highly recommended. AK
